Recent update August 2026

The season started of reasonably well this year with some nice browns and sea trout being caught early on. One or two early summer salmon were caught with the earlier rain and now that we had a few spells of rain through the late summer there are grilse in the river.

Although the summer temperatures have been very high we hope you have been able to get some fishing done.
