The Allan water has again been classified as a grade 2 river for 2019. This means that anglers have the option to take a fish if they want to. In 2018 there was a return rate of salmon and grilse of 100% showing conservation is on everyone's mind.
ALLAN WATER OPENING DAY
A little half hour of sunshine helped opened the fishing season on the Allan on the 15th. Thanks to all who made it and braved the elements to have a cast.
Thanks also to Alison Baker a director of the Forth Fisheries Trust and Clerk to the Forth Salmon Board who gave an opening speech and blessed the river. The Association Committee wish all its members tight lines for the coming season.
